How Infrared Works:

	Locate your area of repair and mark out with chalk.
	Position the infrared heater over the area of repair. In the case above, we are repairing rutting from car tires which is accumulating water and ice and becoming a tripping hazard.
	Scratch rake the area with a steel tooth asphalt rake.
	Install fresh plant hot mix asphalt as needed to bring the low area up to grade.
	Grade and lute the patch to level the area. If the asphalt is older and oxidized, an asphalt rejuvenator will be sprayed onto the patch to re-introduce some of the asphaltic oils.
	Compact the patch with a vibratory plate or asphalt roller.
	Completed repairs are ready for traffic in 1 – 2 hours.

Pothole Repair

If you have a single pot hole repair the cost to permanently repair the area with infrared asphalt repair we can help. This is for pot hole repair only. Up to 100 sq ft. If a pot hole is repaired that is surrounded by alligator cracking, the pot hole repair will most likely not last. Please contact our office for a quotation or permanent repairs.
